During an interview on Rai 1, Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha was invited to reflect on a tragic tram mass-casualty accident in Milan that she happened to witness and where she assisted as a physician.

She described how, in the midst of such a dramatic moment, her brain was able to remain calm and focused. Sometimes even an apparently irrational gesture can act as an anchor, allowing the brain to stay ready to act and manage a catastrophic situation.
