Dr. Tartaglia is a Professor at the University of Toronto. She received her medical degree from McGill University, completed residency at the Western University and did a clinical/research fellowship in Cognitive/Behavioral neurology at the University of California, San Francisco Memory and Aging Center. She is a cognitive-behavioral neurologist at the UHN Memory Clinic where she sees patients with neurodegenerative diseases and persisting symptoms of concussion. She is a scientist at the Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases where she uses a multi-modal biomarker approach to facilitate early detection of neurodegenerative diseases. The ultimate goal of her research programs is to bring personalized medicine to her patients. She collaborates with local, national and international groups to improve diagnosis and understanding of Alzheimer’s Disease and Frontotemporal Dementia.
