On 23 May 2024 , Dr Antonella Santuccione Chadha had the pleasure of being part of the panel at the NZZ Neue Zürcher Zeitung live discussion where she presented our Female Quota Awareness Campaign.
Alongside Dr Chadha, were Lisa Falco, and Catherine Gebhard, MD, PhD. The panel’s debate was moderated by Gioia da Silva, NZZ Editor for Science and Technology, and evolved around gender medicine and women’s under-representation in research and clinical trials. The importance of filling the gender gap, fighting the many societal taboos around women’s health, and sensitizing medical professionals on these issues were discussed, followed by an engaging Q&A session with the audience.
How are we making a change to women’s underrepresentation in research and clinical trials?
We have established a research foundation that aims to tackle the impact of sex and gender on brain health. Our ultimate goal is to establish a research institute with a clear focus on sex and gender precision medicine, that will develop personalized therapies for females, males, and all gender spectra.
And we need your support! Be part of the change and donate today!
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who is supporting our cause through their donations or by sharing our fundraiser, and to our creative collaborators Ogilvy Switzerland
