We are pleased to share that phase 3 of the Health Inclusivity Index has been launched, and can be accessed at Index website, along with the findings from phases 1 and 2.

The third research phase examines the health and economic impacts of removing barriers that prevent good health for underserved population segments. It focuses on seven health topics (health literacy, air pollution, tooth decay, gum disease and type 2 diabetes, micronutrient deficiency, musculoskeletal conditions and osteoporosis) across four groups who often face significant barriers to healthcare access or experience a higher burden of certain conditions: people with low health literacy, those with low incomes, women, and individuals aged 50 and above. The results of these analyses are described in a report, an interactive data story, and snapshots for each of the 40 countries in the Index.

Phase 3 also includes forcefield analysis and stakeholder mapping to create health inclusivity roadmaps for five countries (Brazil, Germany, India, Indonesia, and South Africa). These outline the steps that countries can take, and which stakeholders would be best placed to implement them.
