Porsche & Ladies Drive Award the 3rd Empowering Women Award
Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is the winner of the 3rd Empowering Women Award in 2024, which was presented during the 9th edition of the League of Leading Ladies Conference in Bad Ragaz.
Bad Ragaz, May 28, 2024
In 2014, when Sandra Stella-Triebl, entrepreneur, publisher, and journalist, founded the business club “The League of Leading Ladies” (LLL), she envisioned more than just another business club with an annual meeting for a select group of female entrepreneurs. Alongside the club, Stella-Triebl developed a concept for a conference that would not only be accessible to LLL members but also to non-members, both women and men. The goal was to create a high-profile multi-day event featuring speakers from around the world.
Since 2022, the League of Leading Ladies Conference has partnered with Porsche Switzerland AG to present the Empowering Woman Award annually. This award recognizes a woman who supports and empowers other women. Nominations for the award are public, and a small jury comprising Uli Rotzinger (Head of Business at the BLICK Group), Charlotte Parnack (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of DIE ZEIT), and LLL founder Sandra Stella-Triebl makes the selection.
This year, over 300 women from the Ladies Drive Network were nominated for the Empowering Women Award 2024. Each of these women would have been deserving of the award. The nominations reflect respect, recognition, and a desire to make women like them visible and wholeheartedly support their endeavors. The self-proclaimed business sisterhood wishes for nothing less!
However, there can only be one winner: Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha. As the driving force behind the Women’s Brain Project (WBP), Dr. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is no stranger in the Ladies Drive universe. She founded the WBP in 2016 with the goal of investigating the impact of gender differences on brain and mental health disorders. The core of her research lies in the understanding that diseases manifest differently in women and men, leading to variations in medication efficacy. Dr. Santuccione Chadha’s work not only influences her immediate environment but also resonates with women worldwide. For instance, according to her data, 80% of dementia patients are female. Antonella Santuccione Chadha is considered one of the leading international pioneers in the field of gender medicine, which is urgently needed.
Congratulations Antonella !
